Being on a tour with a group of new people from all around the world has made the really experience fun for me. I think you get out of it, what you put into it. So if you are friendly and open to new friendships, there is a strong likelihood that you will come out of the experience with a new friend. The tour is also designed so that you are not with the group the entire day and that you get enough opportunity to have your own free time away from the group.

Less is more; since the tour is active and you are moving from one city to the next, having a big, heavy suitcase is not the way to go. Comfortable shoes - I think this goes without saying😊 you will be walking a lot so make sure you have a pair or two of shoes that you know you are comfortable in before you leave for the trip. Since these tours are pretty active and depending on the time of the month you go, it is smart to have breathable clothes

Yes. My tips are 1.) Try and use any Italian you do know, even Hello (Ciao) or Thank you (Grazie) goes along way when communicating 2.) Respect - as long as you try and are respectful, you will be a-okay!
